On Line Registration Instructions

Coaches: You must register and register your team before your team members can join. A student may serve as coach.

***NOTE: THE COLLEGE REPRESENTATIVE MAY NOT BE A STUDENT! USDF and IDA require that the the college representative MUST be a non-student who is officially recognized by the college- the faculty advisor, etc.

Coach of New Team – Click JOIN IDA. Fill out all of the information correctly. Make sure you check all positions that apply in the WHO ARE YOU section of the application. Click submit. Your team application should then appear.

Returning Coach of Existing Team: Log on to the website. Click RENEW INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP, make any changes to your information required. Make sure you check all positions that apply in the WHO ARE YOU section of the application. Submit the form. Your team application should then appear. Check the information to verify that it is correct. Make any changes necessary.

New Coach for Existing Team - Log on to the website using the former coach’s or College Rep’s username and password. A link will appear after the login screen with the option to renew the team membership. Click on Renew the Team membership. Review the team information, deleting old coaches and college reps or adding new coaches and college reps. Once this is complete, click on JOIN IDA in the lower left column. This will take you to the individual application. Fill out all the blanks with the correct information. Make sure you check all positions that apply in the WHO ARE YOU section of the application. Submit the form.

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS

New Individual Members: Make sure your coach has registered your team because you will not be able to register until your team is registered. Click JOIN THE IDA. Complete your basic information including your username and password. Click submit. On your user confirmation page, click on the "Click here to Complete your IDA Individual Membership for this Year." link. Complete the IDA Application including your rider history and Rider Classification form, selecting next on the bottom of each page. Upon completion, print out your application, your Rider Classification form and the Assumption of Risk statement following all instructions on the website and forms.

Returning Individual Members: Make sure your coach has registered your team because you will not be able to register until your team is registered. Log on using your USERNAME and PASSWORD. On the login confirmation screen, click on the "Click here to Complete your IDA Individual Membership for this Year." link. Review your information making any corrections necessary. Click next to update your riding history. Upon completion, click next to print out your application along with copies of the Assumption of Risk statement following all instructions on the website and forms.
